I use this site to document and publish my hobbies. It makes me happy to help others find ways to build things and do their own DIY projects. It’s my contribution to the community and to the many other makers, coders, do-er’s out there who contribute to make these things easy to obtain and/or build. However, there are risks. Doing this work is not for everyone, and instructions are not perfect and sometimes may even be inaccurate or out-of-date.

If you decide to build something based on instructions I have provided via this blog, YouTube or any other channel my projects may reach, you do so accepting any and all risks that come with it – even those you may not be aware of. It is up to you to understand what your are getting into and the inherent risks.

Usage: In a number of cases, my code consists of a mashup of work I have done as well as libraries published by others. In nearly every case, they are all published as open source. If using my code, you are authorized to re-use, modify, add or update the code and project for personal purposes only as long as the original credits are maintained and published for pubic consumption. Additionally, I ask that you post reference back to this blog for others. If you are interested in using it for commercial/re-sale purposes, please contact me first.

I also want to send a shout out to all the contributing members of the community. Be it GitHub, user forums, other blogs etc. Without them, we would not be able to do the things we do. My ask of you is, when you watch a YouTube video, download free code from here, GitHub or elsewhere, make a point to like, send thanks, subscribe, and when offered, send a small donation. In some cases, these folks make a living off their work, in others your contribution will help them progress their work.

That said, enjoy and build!
